About Gretchen Hollar Kirkman
She was born in in Forsyth county, North Carolina and raised in Surry County, North Carolina. Mrs. Kirkman graduated from Surry Central High School in Dobson, North Carolina, received her undergraduate degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law. Mrs. Kirkman initially practiced law in NY and in NJ after graduating from Law School. She then returned to Surry County in 2001 and passed the State Bar Exam in NC. Mrs. Kirkman worked at two different local law firms before opening her own practice in 2004.
She has 19 years of experience in estate, elder, contracts, criminal, traffic, custody, DSS court, juvenile court, uncontested divorce, civil, and separation agreements. She passed the state bar exams in New Jersey, New York, and in North Carolina. Mrs. Kirkman is a member of the North Carolina State Bar and the North Carolina Bar Association. Gretchen has been married for 13 years to Treva Kirkman and has 2 daughters, Lily Hayes Kirkman and Elizabeth Rose Kirkman. She resides in Surry County, North Carolina with her family.
